| YPC's mission is to promote an environment that attracts and retains young professionals in Greater Des Moines. YPC is an extension of the Greater Des Moines Partnership. The organization's focus is to connect young professionals to each other and the community. Committees carry out social, civic, charitable, and professional development endeavors. |

| Accomplishments |
In the runup to January's caucuses, YPC held events such as "Caucus and Coronas" discussions on hot political topics, a "Mock Caucus" that encouraged young professionals to practice the caucus process and conversations with presidential candidates and their representatives from each political party. YPC also contributed to the creation of the Downtown Community Aliiance's Passport Program, which encouraged participants to visit downtown establishments. YPC also sponsored YP Day at the Capitol, among other networking and social events. |
